Labour & Maintenance
Skilled teams and upkeep that keeps assets working
Vetted, supervised labour for live sites, plus planned and reactive maintenance contracts for buildings already in use.
Overview
People on site, and a plan for after handover
Projects rarely fail because of materials. They fail because the right people were not on site on the right day, or because nobody owned the building once the contractor left.
We supply skilled tradespeople and general labour under our own supervision — masons, steel fixers, carpenters, tilers, painters, electricians' mates and site hands — with attendance, safety and output tracked rather than assumed. You get a managed team, not a phone number for casuals.
For completed buildings we run planned preventive maintenance and reactive repair contracts: scheduled inspections, defined response times for faults, and refurbishment work handled by crews who already know the property.

Scope
What this service covers
Skilled labour supply
Masons, carpenters, steel fixers, tilers, painters and finishing trades, deployed and supervised by FIIDE.
General labour teams
Site hands for material handling, cleaning, excavation support and preparation works.
Planned maintenance
Scheduled inspection and servicing regimes that catch small faults before they become capital costs.
Reactive repairs
A defined channel and response window for breakdowns, leaks, electrical faults and damage.
Refurbishment & snagging
Making-good, redecoration, unit turnaround between tenants and clearance of outstanding defects.
Facility & estate upkeep
Ongoing upkeep contracts for landlords, institutions and corporates with multiple properties.
Why it matters
What a managed labour and maintenance contract changes
Supervised
Teams answer to a FIIDE supervisor, not to an unmanaged gang leader.
Scheduled
Maintenance happens on a calendar instead of after a complaint.
Documented
Attendance, works completed and materials used are recorded.
Scalable
Crew size flexes with the programme without renegotiating everything.

Questions
Answers before you commit
Can we hire labour for a short peak period?
Yes. We scale crews up and down to match your programme, with supervision included rather than charged as an extra layer.
Do you take on maintenance for buildings you didn't construct?
Yes. We start with a condition survey, then propose a planned maintenance schedule and a response protocol for reactive faults.
How is safety handled?
PPE, site inductions and method statements apply to every FIIDE crew, whether they are on our own contract or supporting yours.
